I would love to introduce you to a significant campaign that will launch this month. It’s being run by Eternal Wall, in partnership with Premier, and the aim is to make hope visible. January is a notoriously challenging month for many, and the pandemic has only highlighted the struggles so many are facing.

The Answered Prayer Challenge is a campaign to flood social media with good news stories between January 25th and February 25th, to show the world that Jesus is alive, He listens and He answers. We believe this will bring encouragement to thousands of people, and change the hope levels in our nation.

Eternal Wall is asking people to:

  • Connect them with any influencers within or beyond your organisation, that you know – so they can take part in the Answered Prayer Challenge by recording their own answered prayer story

Launch Week One (w/c 25th January, not before):

  • Share Premier’s explainer video on social media
  • Remember a prayer that God has answered for you
  • Record a short video on your phone sharing that answered prayer (1-2 minutes, landscape format), and share that on social media and with your contacts (see below for post details)
  • Nominate three people of influence in or beyond your organisation, to take part in the answered prayer challenge! Make sure you prep them about the challenge so they are ready to film their own answered prayer video

Then:

  • Post your video and nominations on your social media and tag in @eternalwalluk and use #answeredprayerchallenge
  • Encourage others to take part by tagging them in too!

Launch Week Two (w/c 1st Feb):

  • Share a video filmed by one of your nominees, and already shared on social media, to encourage others to take part in the Answered Prayer challenge

Here’s an easy way to introduce your video, before you tell your answered prayer:
‘Here’s my story of hope for the Answered Prayer Challenge. I nominate @friend1 @friend2 and @friend3 to take part. Let’s make hope visible!’

Then share your answered prayer, remembering to include these 3 key elements:

  • What was your situation?
  • How did you pray?
  • How did Jesus answer your prayer?

Please join us in this hope movement – share your answered prayer to make hope visible!

Eternal Wall is a Christian, national landmark in the UK, opening in 2022 near Birmingham. A stunning piece of architectural art, designed to provoke a conversation about prayer. Made of a million bricks, each one will digitally link to a story revealing how God has answered a specific prayer for an individual. Visitors will be able to unlock these stories of hope when they hold their phone up to any part of the wall.
