Back in August we announced the introduction of the new telephone system, Acefone, with a single number for all calls. Now following the successful trialling of the new system, we are pleased to announce the expansion of the National Prayer Line team.
From Monday the 18th of October the team will be increased to two prayer ministers on each day. The new team members are volunteers drawn from within the Healing Rooms family and are all trained and experienced in the Healing Rooms ways of ministering healing prayer.
Of recent months the numbers of callers have remained consistent but what appears to be changing is that whilst there are many repeat callers there is also an increasing number of new callers. Hopefully this means the message of hope that the National Prayer Line offers is reaching out to a wider audience.
Prayer needs remain varied and range from the physical to emotional, family issues, in fact the whole range of needs that one experiences in life.
We wish God’s blessing on our expanded team; may they know His presence with them each time they take a call, may He inspire them with the words to say and through them bring healing. We know that they will find this ministry a blessing to themselves and look forward to many testimonies of how God has prepared and touched them as prayer ministers.
