We are pleased to feature works by the Christian artist Sarah Bookless. Sarah’s inspiration is to be led by the Holy Spirit, on her website she says –

The main aim for my drawings and paintings is to be led by the Holy Spirit…In Psalm 19 verse 1 we read;

”All Heaven declares the Glory of God and the skies displays His craftmanship”

The late poet Gerald Manley Hopkins 1844-1889 also shared this same love of God and Nature in his poem, ”Glory to God for dappled things…he fathers forth whose beauty is past change…Praise Him”. I have also been greatly influenced by the Artist and poet William Blake 1757-1827

”To see a World in a grain of Sand and a Heaven in a Wild Flower Hold Infinity in the

palm of your hand and Eternity in an Hour ”

So whether I’m painting a landscape or simply sketching the smallest sparrow my main objective is always to glorify God in all my artwork.
