We are faced with huge choices right now. We can choose right or we can choose wrong. Many are taught wrong and thus believe wrong and yet they hold onto it so strongly that they would rather stay wrong than admit it and change. But there are times when change is vital. I have had 52 years of married experience and for more years than I can remember I have been trying change Beverley from being this to that! Worn out trying is an understatement. I gave up trying because she told me the more, I try the more trying I become! You and I can change no one, however hard we try. Change is a choice. Choose to change and the Holy Spirit will do the changing!

There is an old story of a ship’s captain who one-night saw what looked like the light of another ship heading towards him. He instructed the signalman to flash a message to the other ship.” Change your course ten degrees south.” The reply came back “Change your course ten degrees north.

The ship’s captain replied answered, “I am a ship’s captain. Change your course south.” To which the reply was, “I’m a seaman first class. Change your course north. This infuriated the ship’s captain, so he signalled back,” I say change your course south. I’m on a battleship.” The reply came back, “Change your course north. I’m in a lighthouse.”
